**Job Summary**

We are seeking a enthusiastic pet lovers to join our team at Kemptville Pet Valu. We offer a fantastic working environment, schedule flexibility, above-average wages, generous employee discounts and the amazing bonus of working with dogs and cats all day

We offer a variety of shift times between 8:30 AM and 9:30 PM. Once per week on Wednesday mornings we offer a 6 AM receiving shift.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Responsibilities include: providing above-average customer service; relaying expert pet advice following your training period; keeping the store well organized, clean and tidy; processing sales transactions efficiently; and bringing a positive attitude and good outlook to work with you every day.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Retail experience is an asset but not required. The most important qualifications are:

- eagerness to learn,
- ability and desire to provide excellent customer service,
- a progressive and inclusive outlook in our diverse workplace,
- being collaborative and team-oriented,
- upbeat and positive attitude.

**About this Job**

We are currently hiring part-time positions. The number of hours available is flexible based on your availability. Full-time positions do come up from time to time, and we give priority to our part-time staff.

The starting wage is $16 per hour growing to $16.50 after training. We hire students under age 18 with a starting wage of $15 per hour, increasing to $15.50 per hour after training.
