**Job Description**:
This role provides technical support for Group Customer (GC) strategic planning and reporting. It contributes to the development of the GC strategic plan, working with the GC organizations to develop a repository of programs/initiatives, aid detailed resource planning, and facilitate summary reporting to GC senior leaders as well as external parties (e.g. Corporate Planning). The role is also accountable for closely monitoring and reporting on the progress of each initiative opposite formal targets for cost, benefit, and resource requirements.

**What you will do**
- Support ongoing initiative planning process, develop and maintain inventory spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Support ongoing tracking of development financials opposite established targets for each initiative and portfolio
- Accountable for maintaining a suite of software tools (databases, spreadsheets, power point presentations) to facilitate the planning and reporting process
- Interact with various departments and initiative owners within GC to complete initiative templates, collect and analyze / challenge business cases, collect resource supply and demand estimates, and document success measures and targets in support of the GC Stage Gate Framework
- Support reporting to GC senior leaders on the progress of key initiatives
- Liaise with Corporate Planning to support initiative reporting to the Operating Committee of Canada
- Support ongoing strategic planning to evolve the GC strategy within the context of the overall Canada strategy
- Support competitor research at a strategic GC level (SWOT analysis, analysis of various industry surveys)
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements in the business planning process and supporting tools and template

**What you will bring**
- Minimum of 2 years business related experience. Experience with Group business will be given preference
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of PowerBI is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong financial, analytic / critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to produce timely and accurate results
- Committed to drive continuous improvement
