Job Title: Crew Supervisor Company: ASB Environmental Location: Greater Vancouver, BC ASB Environmental is looking for a dedicated, safety-first Crew Supervisor to lead our remediation and hazardous materials teams. This isn’t just about overseeing a site; it’s about ensuring every project meets the highest safety standards while keeping our crew efficient and our clients happy. If you’re a Level 2 Asbestos professional who knows how to run a tight ship and isn't afraid to lead by example, we want to talk to you. Key Responsibilities - Team Leadership: Direct daily operations on-site, ensuring crews are on task, motivated, and following all safety protocols. - Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to WorkSafeBC regulations and ASB Environmental’s safety standards. - Site Management: Oversee set-up, containment, removal, and disposal of hazardous materials (specifically asbestos). - Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the field crew and management. - Documentation: Complete daily logs, safety checklists, and project reports accurately and on time. Requirements (Must-Haves) - Certification: Valid WSBC Asbestos Level 2 certification. Basic First Aid. - Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract. - Experience: Proven experience in asbestos abatement and leading a crew in a fast-paced environment. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills (you'll be handling reporting and team coordination). - Reliability: A "get-it-done" attitude with a focus on precision and safety.
