The Canadian Sales Team is seeking a Territory Manager with a strong background in architectural development to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Canadian Sales, the Territory Manager will be responsible for promoting the Loewen brand in the marketplace and will sustain, enhance, grow, establish, develop and manage the Loewen dealer channel, marketing to the architectural base and dealer community.

**As a key member of our sales team, you will have responsibility for**:
**Architectural Development**:

- Regular marketing calls with architects within the territory
- Presentations on Loewen product and accredited AIA materials
- Participate in architectural blitzes to generate brand awareness

**Market Development**:

- Collaborate with dealers on local market growth plans including planning and development of their sales team
- Coordinate regular marketing calls with dealers’ sales teams and builders/designers in their areas
- Ensure the Loewen brand awareness is increasing in all markets
- Host factory tours in Canada as necessary

**Dealer Development**:

- Analyze market potential for geographic territory and establish targets for new dealer locations
- Assist in training, showroom setup and initial marketing launches in the new territories, open houses, and other penetration initiatives
- Regain market share with existing dealer base

**Account Management**:

- Develop monthly territory business plans and dealer level action plans to achieve sales targets
- Maintain and strengthen existing dealer relationships through regular visits in rotation
- Work with dealer and corporate personnel in developing solutions for sales opportunities and market needs
- Maintain CRM information and monthly reporting activity
- Complete order forecasts
- Represent new products to customer and presenting as appropriate.

**Corporate Liaison**:

- Act as communication link between the field and corporate personnel
- Provide post-sale technical support and troubleshooting on service issues on-site and off-site
- Provide ongoing input to corporate personnel on field service issues
- Provide input to product development plans and seek market input and information from architects/builders/designers in the region
- Assist Marketing with planning and execution of corporate marketing programs
- Provide intelligence on competitor activity including product, pricing, promotions, and regional distribution structures
- Ensure that service parts are ordered and received
- Accessible to internal and external customers and ready to assist wherever necessary

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar field within the industry
- 4-year degree in a related field would be considered an asset
- Strong understanding of the specification and construction documentation process
- Exceptional customer service and networking skills with demonstrated ability to build and manage strong business relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with effective presentation skills in formal and informal environments.
- Strong background in negotiation and organizational follow through
- High energy, self-directed, highly confident, and self-motivated with interest in continuous learning
- Experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Experience with quoting and CRM tools used within the industry
- Excellent problem solving skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Able to meet travel requirements (60-70%) including overnight travel
- Valid passport and drivers license along with driver’s abstract
