EcoQuest Adventures provides summer camp programs for youths, providing positive learning experiences for children between 7 and 12 years. Our goal is to create an exciting and engaging opportunity for youths to learn and express themselves in a variety of summer programs focused around kayaking and earth sciences. We invite sports-oriented and people-minded individuals that are enthusiastic and energetic to join us in providing a safe and exciting experience for children and youth.

At EcoQuest Adventures, we are dedicated to crafting positive learning experiences and fostering a drive for healthy, active lifestyles in children and youth. We are currently seeking an Earth Sciences Camp Leader looking to bring excitement and enthusiasm to the position and be a part of a team dedicated to creating positive experiences for children and youth.
- Capable of working independently to manage group sizes of up to 12 children.
- Maintains a friendly and outgoing disposition within a child-friendly environment.
- Passionate about working with and teaching young children.
- Capable of leading strenuous physical camp activities and transporting camp equipment.
- Ensure high quality communication with management and parents.
- Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to adjust to the needs of the children/program.
- Affinity for or previous experience with teaching or leading young children.
- Must possess Class 5 Driver’s License and provide driving record upon request.
- Must submit to and pass a Criminal Record Check.
- Must possess Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C qualifications.

As a part of this position, the Earth Sciences Camp Leader will be responsible for the following duties:

- Conducting lessons for participants during camp programs.
- Maintaining inventory and condition of camp supplies and equipment for both Earth Science and Kayaking Camps.
- Receiving and handling correspondence and queries from parents and other external partners.
- Transporting camp supplies and equipment to and from camp sites.
- Ensuring safety and well-being of participants throughout camp programs and activities.
- Filling in with other camps (Soccer, Space Exploration, Fun Days, etc.) as needed with a lesson plan and all materials provided.
- Completing other tasks as required by the Program Manger.

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: $650.00-$700.00 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
