**General Manager**

**Per se Social Corner** is a Michelin Guide recommended establishment and one of Vancouver’s buzziest restaurants. We are currently seeking a **General** **Manager** to manage and oversee daily operations to deliver memorable quality dining experiences for all our guests. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to day operations of the restaurant.
- Manage staff members, including scheduling, hiring, training, and performance evaluations while collaborating with department leads.
- Provide construction feedback to staff, promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Must be able to operate, lead, handle daily financials, cash reconciliations and deposits.
- Guest service remains a priority and issues are dealt with in a professional a timely manner.
- Ensure Health and safety guidelines and quality control are followed according to sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Work with upper management in operational policies and managing employees.
- Be results-driven and strive to increase profit revenue and sales by generating insightful creative processes to guide the team for exceptional performance and financial goals

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of previous Management experience
- Motivate and manage a team.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be familiar with Open Table and Squirrel systems.
- WSET 2 would be considered an asset.
- Must have Serving it Right Certification
