**Summer Camp OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR**

Canada’s oldest family-run traditional summer camp, the Taylor Statten Camps operate on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park from June to September. From October through May, this position shifts to a work-from-home arrangement. The camp is made up of Camp Wapomeo for Girls and Camp Ahmek for Boys. Our campers range from age 6 to 16. We are a traditional camp that offers a wide selection of in-camp activities and a world-class flat-water canoe tripping experience for all ages. We are looking for an individual to fufill administrative matters, including all administrative relationships with campers, parents and staff.
**Responsibilities**
- Use Campbrain software for updates, registrations, cabinzer, input/keep track of all camper charges
- Keep track of outstanding financial balances with all vendors, suppliers, and clients and process invoices throughout the year
- Order operational and program supplies
- Oversee organization and creation of camper files and create cabin groups
- Arrange intake and outtake transportation for all campers and staff
- Work closely with Algonquin Catering to provide accurate meal counts and other important information
- Act as the main company contact for the TSC Bursary Fund
- Act as the summer Supervisor of the Driver, Ahmek receptionists and Ahmek tuck shop/storehouse staff; assist with Wapomeo receptionists and tuckshop/storehouse staff
- Assist and support senior management and the Ahmek and Wapomeo Directors throughout the summer to ensure smooth camp operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for camper parents, cabin groups, and staff regarding program needs, supplies, and general logístical matters.
- Provide necessary reports from Campbrain to Ahmek and Wapomeo directors
- Ensure all off-season camper notes are shared with the Ahmek and Wapomeo Directors before the summer begins, while also collecting and responding to off-season feedback and passing along all relevant information.
- Design tuck shop items for each year; arrange purchase; sell items in the off season; supervise tuck shop coordinators in the summer with regards to inventory and sales
- Organize the facilitation of parent letters in the summer and April mailings to parents
- Update Website with information pertaining to camper parents
**Qualifications**:
- College/ University degree is preferred
- High degree of confidentiality
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure and work individually as well as in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time
- Capacity to prioritize, and work to deadlines
- A quick learner who is flexible, adaptable, understands urgency, and can work efficiently under pressure.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, various Social Media platforms and CampBrain
- Strong customer service skills and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passionate about children’s summer camp and the outdoors
- Summer camp experience is considered an asset
**- Ability to relocate to Canoe Lake for June, July, August and September**
Compensation varies depending on experience but includes a Health Benefits package and three (3) weeks vacation.
