We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at our new Courtenay location of GARDENWORKS This position requires someone with good health and strength as there are physical demands of the job. This is a part-time to full-time position (24-40 hours per week).

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Receiving of incoming shipments, including unloading, unpacking, and examining product for damages and/or shortages
- Verify incoming shipments against invoices, and purchase orders - ensuring proper receiving methods are being executed
- Restocking of inventory on the retail sales floor, maintaining an orderly back stock, ensuring product rotation
- Keeping the physical space clean and organized

**Required qualifications**:

- Good health and strength are extremely important as there are physical demands of the job
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet the demands of a busy work environment
- Exceptional organizational skills & the ability to effectively plan physical space, time, and labour with an attention to detail
- A team outlook with the ability to work well with other members of the team
- Excellent communication skills
- Forklift ticket is an asset, but not required as we can provide in-house training
