Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic dental practice, gaining experience in various areas of dentistry.

**Duties**:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, passing instruments and materials as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software (Paradigm)
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program required
- Active Dental Assistant certification/license
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a dental office or clinic
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in using electronic dental software (Paradigm)
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
