Position Summary
Assist the Leasing Manager in leasing residential rental properties within the SmartCentres portfolio. The main responsibilities will involve the day-to-day operations of leasing up our new rental building, The Millway.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage database of prospects that have expressed an interest in renting, ensuring all leads are responded to in a timely fashion
- Market and show available suites to prospective residents
- Liaise with other members of the leasing, sales & marketing, and property management team
- Conduct regular market surveys of comparable properties to stay on top of market trends
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the product including availability of suite types and layouts, common areas and amenities, and value-added services
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and businesses continually exploring opportunities to increase traffic and build awareness about the property
- Support with resident retention programs and activities

Required Skills/Experience
- 3+ years of relevant leasing and/or sales experience in residential real estate, property management, seniors housing, or marketing
- Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels within as well as outside the company
- Any designations and/or certifications would be considered an asset
