Located on the picturesque Toronto Islands, we are a popular marina with 300+ slips, a fuel dock, a waterfront restaurant, and a private tender service that offers direct transportation from Queens Quay & York Street to the marina. This is a great chance to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment, while enjoying stunning views and connecting with people from all over.

As a Dock Attendant, you'll be the face of the marina, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the cleanliness and high standards of the marina property
- Conduct dock walks to identify and report areas requiring repair
- Comply with all Technical Standards and Safety Authority regulations
- Fuel vessels and pump out holding tanks safely and efficiently
- Help transport city-side deliveries to the island
- Assist vessels with docking and casting off
- Provide exceptional customer service to all marina patrons
- Ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff
- Assist with the tender service as needed
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Friendly, approachable, and eager to deliver excellent customer service
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work on weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays is required
- Availability throughout September and beyond is an asset
- Experience working near water, with boating, or in marina operations is an asset
- Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) is an asset
- Small Vessel Operator Proficiency (SVOP) license is an asset
- First Aid & CPR Certification is an asset

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-07-21
