**Title**: Director, Strategic Initiatives
**Salary**: $125,708 - $147,891 - $170,075 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hrs Monday
- Friday, normal office hours 8:30am-4:30pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver Offices
- Park Royal -Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
**About the role**
As Director, Strategic Initiative, you will collaborate within FNHA and with external partners to provide strategic leadership in three main areas: partnerships and collaboration; project management - strategic initiatives; and healthy children and youth. As a senior leader, the Director provides thought leadership and effective team building skills to the work and contributes to continual quality improvement and related knowledge exchange, transformation and change management. This is a new role within FNHA which includes existing work and work yet to be determined. This is an opportunity to help shape a new directorate within the organization.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
**Education and Experience**
- University degree in health policy, Law, First Nations governance, health administration or related disciplines, as well as 5-7 years of relevant specialized experience working in primary care and/or health promotion services, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

You may have experience in; Head of Strategic Projects, Director of Strategic Programs, Chief Strategy Officer.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
