Ready to raise your game? We have an exciting Co-op opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated student to join our Sales Team. As a Marketing Assistant Intern, you will be collaborating with our Sales Team in the development and implementation of B2B marketing and communication strategies in a SaaS Startup environment. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of our innovating and fast-growing team and make a meaningful impact

**You are a great fit if**:

- You’re skilled at developing marketing and communication strategies, plans, and functions.
- You’re skilled and comfortable at creating and editing content for websites, social media, advertisements, and media placements.
- You enjoy collaborating and working closely with the Sales and Customer Success team in writing, editing and enhancing the communications-related documentation as required by external stakeholders to ensure a consistent, concise platform of messaging is achieved.
- You enjoy working with the Sales team in building customer databases, filling out proposal templates, and other related duties as required.
- You have a solid understanding of handling various social media platforms of the organization.
- You are a natural when liaising with stakeholders, vendors, media, and partners to promote the success of projects/activities.
- You are determined and motivated to increase brand awareness by growing followers, engagement, and awareness online, as well as to develop and prepare promotional materials.
- You are a self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- You love organizing conferences, setting up booths, and even pitching to potential customers and other stakeholders.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree or diploma, such as communications, marketing and business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- B2B Social media experience.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, prioritize under the pressure of tight deadlines, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Must speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrate group presentation skills.
- Expertise in managing an organization’s website and website content.
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Graphic design and content creation.
- Software skills: Proficient in WordPress, Wix, Microsoft office suite, Adobe Photoshop, and illustrator (creative suite).
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.

**Some Nice-to-Haves**
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering and infrastructure assessment.
- Experience or familiarity with working in a Startup.
