**Position**: Sales Associate

**Hours**: Full-Time (40 hours per week), weekends required

**Compensation**: $18.00-$21.00 (per hour) depending on experience plus bonuses

**About Cyclone Taylor Sports**:

CTS has four physical retail locations in the lower mainland (Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, and Surrey), as well as a large eCommerce website that ships hockey and lacrosse equipment to all corners of the globe. **About the position**:
The Sales Asscociate is responsible for helping with the day-to-day operations of the CTS Richmond retail location. The Sales Associate provides a memorable and exciting shopping experience for customers of all ages, and services a large customer base seeking regular skate sharpening and hockey equipment.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:
Education & Experience:

- Hockey background required (player, coach, fan)
- At minimum, completion of secondary school
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

**Skills**:

- Knowledge and passion for ice hockey and/or lacrosse is an asset
- Experience and/or knowledge with skate sharpening is an asset
- Familiarity with point-of-sale system operations
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent customer service
- Organized

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone, including identifying appropriate customer needs
- Assist in skate sharpening for a large customer base
- Assists customers in Hockey equipment fitting
- Stocking and merchandising of inventory
- Shipping and Receiving
- Cash Handling
- Supports with team sales initiatives
- Other duties as required

**CTS offers a competitive compensation package as well as staff discounts on hockey and/or lacrosse equipment.**

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
