**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain exceptional customer service
- Build customer loyalty
- Adhere to strict cleaning schedule
- Adhere to strict product rotation and handling
- Opening and closing store
- Stocking and merchandising
- Receiving orders

**Requirements**:

- Two years of experience in a retail environment
- Exemplary customer service and relations skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to accept feedback
- The ability to take initiative
- Prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift heavy stock regularly (average of 30 pounds)
- Must be able to climb ladders, crouch and kneel
- Must be bondable and insurable
- Able to work weekends with reliable transportation

**Bonus Consideration**
- If you’ve worked in a pet retail store before
- If you’re knowledgeable about pet nutrition and products
- If you have past management experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- retail store: 2 years (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
