Are you a Caregiver / homesupport worker looking for a unique position as a live-in Caregiver?

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about what they do and understand and respect the needs while working with our Autistic child (5 years old).

*Roles and Responsibilities*

The caregiver will provide basic care for our child which are mostly related to personal care, activities of daily living including but not limited to housekeeping. We are both working parents and in need of such individual who could fulfill these duties. The caregiver will be provided a furnished bedroom, attached bathroom, bathroom supplies and basic furniture including chair and working desk. Our house is free of smoking, pet and alcohol. The following are the tasks that may required:

- Assist child in all activities of daily self care including toileting, bathing, taking care of his food and supervise him.
- Assist child in preparing him for school in the morning, prepare breakfast and lunch.
- Perform housekeeping chores including, vacuum, making bed for the child, dusting, mopping, cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen.
- Respond and collaborate positively to our constructive criticism and attend our requests promptly.
- Anticipate child needs and customize care to meet the client's needs.

Qualifications:
*High School
- Previous experience providing support to autistic child

*Display good emotional health and be physically fit to do some lifting.

*Non-smoker / Non-alcoholic

*Basic knowledge of Autism

*Demonstrate flexibility in acceptance of assignments and a cooperative attitude.

Immunization requirements

It is required to provide documentation that you have received two doses of covid-19 vaccine. Proof will be required at a later date.

**This Job is only open to Indigenous persons**

**Salary**: $19.00-$19.50 per hour

**Benefits**:
