Sensity seeks a Mentorship and Training Specialist for an immediate opening for a full time role based in Paris, ON. Reporting to the Director of Training, this position ensures a high level of service is being delivered to the individuals supported by Sensity and sustains a practical approach to training and mentorship.
**Essential Position Functions**:

- Schedule post-training follow up meetings with intervenors to support a practical approach to the implementation of the theoretical training received.
- Generate related reports as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Services team to determine training needs.
- Foster the growth and development of intervenors.
- Deliver mandatory in-house training curriculum aligning with the technical competencies of an intervenor.
- Facilitate and maintain on-line training courses.
- Create an environment that encourages intervenors to assess their strengths and areas of development.
- Champion a supportive learning environment that facilitates employee growth and development.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- GBC Intervenor Program diploma or certificate
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the field
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of American Sign Language, Signed Exact English and various communication methods
- Strong computer proficiency, with working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management.
- Solid time management, attention to detail and organizational skills. Adaptable and flexible with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressure and demands.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Thorough understanding of the Technical and Behavioural Competencies for intervenors
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to develop and mentor others
- In-depth understanding of the Intervenor Organization of Ontario (IOO) Code of Ethics
