Oakridge is currently recruiting for a Grounds Superintendent for the Burlington/Oakville/Mississauga area. The position involves overseeing year-round** **exterior commercial property maintenance.

Our extensive landscape construction knowledge and installation abilities combined with our team, sub-trade relationships, and central location allow our company to complete both large and small scale successfully. We won 9 Landscape Ontario awards in 2021 for our residential and commercial projects.

**Job Title**: Grounds Superintendent

**Location**: Eastern GTA Ontario (domiciled in Oakville)

**Pay**: $60,000 to 70,000 Annually
- Benefits after 3 months
- Company-matching RRSP is available after one year
- Company Vehicle.

**Job Duties**:

- Knowledge of site including operation and location of important items (i.e. alarm panels, alarm codes, roof hatches, fire hydrants, utility and electrical rooms, catch basins, water meters).
- Knowledge of HVAC and general construction practice would be considered an asset.
- Able to manage multiple commercial sites throughout the Brantford to London area.
- Able to manage multiple grounds-keeping crews.
- Good understanding of parking lot maintenance and outdoor janitorial jobs.
- Very strong understanding of snow removal practices as well as the ability to manage numerous sites for snow and ice management during winter months.
- Familiarity with a contractual scope of work.
- Proven dedication and motivation.
- Ability to make quick, smart decisions.
- Necessary attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.

**Job Requirements**:

- A degree or diploma in Horticultural Studies; Construction; Landscape; Applied Technology or Construction Management; is an asset.
- Minimum of five (5) experience in a similar role.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract.
