Come be part of our innovative and passionate team at Monte Cristo Bakery We are actively looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support our 70,000 square foot facility at Delta, BC

The Maintenance Supervisor will act as extension and information link between the Maintenance Manager and the rest of the Maintenance Team. With a focus on safety, repairs & preventative maintenance and continuous improvement, the individual will play a key role in ensuring that equipment in the facility is well maintained to maximize production quantity, quality and efficiency. This role may require off-shift and weekend work.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Planning, organizing and directing the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets
- Preparing reports, analyze data, make recommendations for improving plant operations and solve maintenance-related problems
- Maintaining and reviewing safety, health, environmental and Preventative Maintenance Records
- Participating in objective setting, plan development and performance reviews of plant performance
- Identifying and monitoring issues as they arise and implement solutions
- Supervising plant maintenance personnel and follow up on work performed by the maintenance team
- Collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders including service providers
- Communicating directly with operations team to coordinate maintenance and repair work in production areas
- Providing consultation to QA team to ensure effective participation by the maintenance team in the implementation of QA policies and procedures
- Leading, training, mentoring and supervising the activities of all direct reports
- Provide appropriate reporting of risk-related information to Management
- Ensure that production area is kept clean and organized

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in technical Field or Journeymen License
- Mechanical experience maintaining equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Minimum 3 years experience in food industries preferred

**Monte Cristo Bakery** opened its doors in 1989 in a small shop on West Broadway. Our family owned and operated business grew from a 2,000 square foot facility to a 70, 000 square foot facility, which is now located in Delta, B.C.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
