The Strategist will join our incredible, tight-knit marketing team and will be responsible for conceptualizing, building out and executing marketing campaigns from beginning to end. This is a creative role and will require strong content creation skills as well as having the attention to detail to ensure campaigns are delivered on time.

The **SPUD** family of companies is an online grocery delivery business with integrated operations through our **Be Fresh** and **Blush Lane** markets in Western Canada. **Responsibilities**:

- Planning, scheduling and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions, working with the various teams to bring the campaign to life
- Analyze, document and report on campaign performances
- Researching and evaluating potential new promotions to increase revenue and traffic to SPUD.ca and/or Blush Lane
- Communicate with marketing team members about priorities in order to ensure that the most valuable projects are being completed first, and deliverable dates are being hit, holding team members accountable to meet campaign deadlines
- Define and execute the marketing campaign calendar ensuring that it is updated to reflect a rolling 90-day plan
- Review all marketing briefs for any missing information
- Set up tracking for online marketing activities
- Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials
- Work closely with Marketing Campaign Manager to support and execute overall marketing strategies/campaigns
- Regular communication with all marketing channels to ensure all brands and messaging are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
- Contribute content for all brands
- Communicate and coordinate with store managers regarding upcoming promotional activities and signage
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
- Minimum two years of experience working in a marketing-related role
- A creative thinker who can put themselves in the mindset of the customer
- Proven project management and administration experience with the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks
- Very organized and detail-oriented
- Strong grammar, copywriting and editing skills and are comfortable proofing your own work
- Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills
- Self-starter and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to accomplish goals
- Understanding of the business objectives related to marketing/brand management
- Knowledge of traditional, digital and content marketing
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Word and Excel as well as experience with Eventbrite, WordPress and online marketing tools
- Passionate about food and sustainability
- Understanding of the food industry, with a particular focus on the natural and organic segments of the industry
