**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in the diagnosis and treatment of animals. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients while delivering exceptional care and service to pet owners.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common diseases.
- Experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
