**Mac's Traders** is a family-owned and operated **Scrap Metal Recycling facility located in Langley.**

**Current Opening: Scrap Metal Processor (Full-Time Position)**
- **Preference will be given to those within the industry and with labour experience**_

**Our STARTING wage is $25 per hour WITH Extended Health & Dental Benefits** included after the first 90 days. **Wage can increase within a short period of time based on performance.**

Current Shifts Available:

- 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
- 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday
- **Please note: This work is conducted primarily outdoors (sun/rain/snow)**_

**GENERAL WORK DUTIES**:

- Identifying and processing of various metals
- General customer assistance, including unloading of various metals
- Use of power tools such as chop saws/grinders/cutting torches
- Quality control/assurance during sorting/processing stages
- Opportunity to run equipment such as forklift, bobcat, baler, alligator shear
- General computer operation & data entry
- General cleaning/organizing/sweeping of work areas

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience sorting Non-Ferrous and Ferrous Materials is an asset
- Experience operating a forklift or bobcat is an asset
- Experience operating power tools is an asset
- Currently residing in Canada/Local
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Basic numerical skills
- Basic computer understanding
- Steel toed boots
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Physical stamina and strength
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Capable of lifting 40 lbs minimum
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Compliance with all company policies
- Safety conscious while performing all tasks
- Effort and enthusiasm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
