**General Labourer**

Wage: $22 / hour

Nightshift Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri 4:00pm-2:30am

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance**and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco prides itself on providing a great employee experience where safety is a way of life. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a** General Labourer** for the **Langley**manufacturing team. This position will report to the **Machine Shop Foreman**

What you will do:

- Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
- Load and unload metal parts from fixtures and moves parts using hand truck or dolly
- Grind and deburr sharp edges from metal parts using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret work orders
- Follow directions given on work orders and by co-workers
- Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually, using hoists or other devices
- Operate Fork Lifts, jib and overhead cranes
- Perform other duties as required

Your qualifications:

- High school diploma
- Crane & Rigging experience or certification an asset
- Ability to operate Fork Lift an asset, training may be provided
- General knowledge of basic tools and equipment

- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
- Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent safety record
