We are a leading exterior renovation company specializing in roofing, siding, eavestrough, windows, and doors. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has made us a trusted name in the industry. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team.
**Position: Service Technician**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Diagnose and Repair**: Identify and fix issues related to exterior components, including roofing, siding, eavestroughs, windows, and doors.
- **Customer Interaction**: Engage with customers to understand their concerns, explain required repairs, and offer solutions. Ability to sell additional services or upsell into a full job.
- **Lead and Consult**: Take the lead in assessing issues, providing expert consultation, and offering pricing for the necessary work.
- **Independent Work**: Work independently to pick up and transport materials, and ensure completion of tasks without constant supervision.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct follow-up inspections on recently completed jobs to ensure quality, address any issues and communicate any findings.
- **Small Projects**: Take on and efficiently manage small jobs, providing high-quality service and attention to detail.
- **Payment Processing**: Handle payment transactions, including cash, debit, and credit card payments.
**Qualifications**:
- **Construction Background**: Proven experience in construction, particularly with exterior renovations.
- **Certifications**: Clean Driver's Abstract and Working at Heights Certificate (willing to train if necessary).
- **Comfortable at Heights**: Ability to work safely and efficiently at heights.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
- **Sales Ability**: Capable of selling services and upselling additional work to customers.
- **Self-Sufficient**: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks with mínimal supervision.
- **Travel**: Ability to travel as necessary to perform required duties.
**Compensation**:
- **Hourly Rate**: $40/hour.
- **Negotiable Wage**: Competitive wages for small jobs, to be discussed based on the scope of work.
- **Company Truck**: Provided for transportation to and from job sites.
- **Equipment/Tools**: All necessary equipment and tools provided.
- **Tablet**: Provided for tracking jobs and managing work orders.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
