**Health and Safety Instructor**:
**Position Purpose**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Deliver and evaluate participant learning in a primarily virtual instructor-led setting, facilitating in-person training programs based on demand.
- Assist in the designing of learning environments and materials that adhere to adult learning principles and promote inclusivity.
- Support learning objectives and conduct needs assessments to better understand participants and their learning styles.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- ** Education**:

- Post-secondary degree, diploma, and/or certificate in adult education, occupational health and safety, or related field.
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO/NHSA) designation.
- Working to obtain a Canadian Registered Safety designation.
- ** Experience**:

- 3 - 7 years of related health and safety experience, preferably within the construction industry.
- 1 - 5 years of experience facilitating courses in-person and online.
- Multimedia technology experience, such as Adobe Connect.

**Required Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to work independently as a strong and contributing member in a team environment.
- Excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills are essential.
- Technology proficient, capable of providing technical support as necessary.
- Critical thinker with the ability to think on your feet.
- Exhibits professionalism in representing Your ACSA and our commitment to delivering top-tier health and safety education.

**Logistics**
- Daily work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Approximately 90% virtual instruction & 10% in-person, 90% classroom facilitation & 10% administration/project work.
- This position will have the potential for a hybrid work model (ACSA facility, home office).
- This position requires some travel and weekend work.
- Reporting to the Manager of Course Design and Delivery.

**Salary**:$60,195 - $92,626+ depending on experience and qualifications
