**What We Will Ask of You**: As a key member of our Leadership and Autism Services OAP Urgent Response Services (URS) teams, our Clinical Supervisor (CS) plays an important role. On most days you’ll be providing clinical supervision and oversight to a team of Behaviour Consultants (BC) and Behaviour Technicians (BT) operating within the urgent response framework using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) based services. The CS assess risk and provides oversight to short-term services with the goal to prevent crisis by implementing supports within the guiding framework of URS _; Respond, Stabilize, Prepare_ and _Repair_. Supports can include; short-term consultation, time-limited respite services, oversight of parent/caregiver training, short-term ABA based treatment planning and additional service navigation expertise.
The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with the Program Manager, external providers and URS team, to ensure that evidence based best practices are followed and quality service is delivered while reducing high risk factors and enhancing the overall quality of life and independence for individuals accessing OAP services. The CS ensures URS are delivered in accordance within effective evidence-based and ethical practices in accordance with the model outlined by the provincial Ontario Autism Program (OAP) guidelines and clinical framework to enhance the quality of life of all service users and their families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Provide performance management, clinical oversight and supervision of Behaviour Consultants and Behaviour Technicians throughout their delivery and oversight of evidence-based behavioural services, caregiver and mediator training and/or education, respite services, case coordination & consultation.
- Oversee treatment integrity of short-term service offerings through regular field supervision sessions with each individual supervisee.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve agency and program objectives and to support policy and procedure development.
- Develop training programs for service users, mediators, and group teaching as required.
- Communicate agency purpose, autism service programming to stakeholders as needed.
- Provide supervision to prospective Behaviour Analysts for the purpose of obtaining their professional credential in a manner that aligns with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario certification/supervision guidelines.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum completion of a Master’s degree relevant to the field of social services and a recognized member in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, as a Behaviour Analyst.
- Ongoing completion of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as directed by College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario to maintain designation.
- Completion of a Jurisprudence and Ethics Course and Assessment in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role within the field of ABA implementing behaviour analytic programming.
- Demonstrated experience of using best practice in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families/caregivers.
- Direct experience with children and youth with high risk behaviours, mental health needs, developmental delays and other diagnoses.
- Project management and leadership experience is an asset.
- First Aid CPR Level C.
- Valid G-Class driver’s license for the Province of Ontario, access to reliable transportation and have valid proof of automobile insurance with driving for business purposes and a minimum liability of two million dollars.
