Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Answering and successfully fielding phone calls from Drivers and staff, impound tow requests, retail customers and other major Account holders
- Interfacing with computer and software systems including Microsoft Office and Towbook
- Entering and Auditing calls for Dealerships, BCAA, ICBC, Impounds and other Major accounts
- Communicate effectively with drivers, staff, customers, and internal teams
- Utilize towing programs/online systems as well as Microsoft Office
- Provide ETAs and other information to customers
- Assisting the dispatcher and assistant dispatcher with all aspects of call management
- Intake and release of storage units
- Releasing and relating effectively with impounded vehicle owners
- Managing access for MVA customers
- Managing payments, cash and float
- Managing all other persons arriving to Drake Reception area
- Taking phone messages for management and staff

**Experience**:

- 1+ year of previous experience in an administrative role or towing company
- Tow Truck or Flatbed Driving experience a huge asset
- Class 5 drivers licence
- Proficiency in using Towbook or similar transportation management systems an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong understanding of Vancouver area
- Excellent customer service skills and phone systems knowledge for effective communication
- Ability to type and multitask

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V5L 5C3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- towing or trucking: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)
- administration or towing industry: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
