**Would you like to be a leader in a fast-growing, innovative, and collaborative company? Three Farmers is seeking a self-driven, talented professional to join our team as Lead Hand in our food manufacturing facility.**

As a key member of the team, the **Lead Hand** is responsible for supervising the line employees’ work quality, productivity and attendance. They will act as a member of the plant leadership team and help to build and support a strong culture of safety, efficiency and quality.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Review production plan and ensure clarity with Production Manager
- Ensure all materials are at the line for production runs, including correct lot numbers and quantities (documenting as required)
- Ensure pre-production equipment is checked for start of production
- Ensure compliance of employee safety, PPE and food safety requirements
- Manages, alongside staff, the cleanup and inspection of equipment post production
- Leading and maintaining a full roster of operators on a shift, ensuring that all line positions are manned and operated, including contingency planning for shift coverage when required
- Training and mentoring all new employees on their respective positions on the manufacturing floor
- Monitor and assess production quality per manufacturing line and recommend and implement improvements
- Assist in all process improvement projects and line enhancements that are completed by management
- Provide all technical data generated from equipment and production cycles on the line for further analysis by the operations and finance teams
- Collaborate with operations on daily production needs and support and assist corrective action and preventative measures when necessary.
- Support Product Development and Innovation pipeline, as required, to ensure packaging and specification compliance.
- Actively supports risk management activities as it relates to quality, customer, brand, and food safety.
- Support the team with any other projects or duties required to be completed as needed.
- 5+ years experience in line supervising in a food manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of quality and food safety and experience implementing and maintaining food safety plans
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skill
- Ability to supervise and motivate others in a team environment
- A willingness to tackle new projects and challenges
- A commitment to collaboration and getting the job done together
- Strong adaptability and change management skills
