The Key Account / Category Manager BioBlend Product Line of Catalys Lubricants’ main mandate is to develop sales and manage all marketing/training and business development initiatives for this product portfolio. He/she contributes to the vision, design, development and implementation of organizational strategies to achieve the growth objectives of the organization aligned with the strategic plan. He/she provides leadership, development, training, coaching and motivation to the sales and operations teams located across Canada.
FUNCTIONS-RESPONSIBILITIES:
- National Lead - Business development of Catalys - Biodegrable product line
- Develop and define the best local strategies and tactics to achieve the strategic objectives of the various markets;
- Act as a key account manager for national customers and other major accounts and a champion in sales leads generation
- Sales coordination overseeing training and technical support activities
- Influence various government levels to promote the use of biodegradable lubricants
- Manage pricing administration with corporate objectives and strategies;
- Provide logistics support through forecasting and inventory planning as well collaborating in optimizing the product and package requirements;
- Ensure and oversee the maintenance of effective optimized inventory management practices;
- Mobilizes and support the development and coaching of his team as well as the development of the next generation.
- Act proactively and promote problem resolution’s best practices;
- Develops a sales culture based on customer service and a second to none customer experience;
- Participates in all other related projects and tasks.
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Technical:
- Excellent direct sales and sales management skills;
- Environmental experience an asset
- Experience in the lubricants, chemicals, automotive, transportation, construction, forestry or mining industries
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Relational:
- High energy leader with 360-degree vision;
- Recognized for exceeding goals through coaching, motivating and leading teams;
- Experience in building quality relationships with counterparts and senior management;
- Skills in negotiating, making difficult decisions, influencing others and managing change;
- Expert in analysis, problem solving and management;
- Team player who knows how to work with different personalities and overcome communication barriers to find solutions;
- Excellent understanding of the business, finance and profit requirements;
- Superior communication, presentation, organization, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science or other related field;
Experience : Minimum of 10 years experience in business development, category management or direct sales in a related environment; Experience in the lubricants industry is an asset;
Languages: Fluent in English, Bilingual an asset
