Full Time Pharmacy Assistant wanted to work from 10:30am to 6:30pm in Toronto from the middle of July to the middle of August.

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, friendly, personable Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy healthcare team. We are a family oriented pharmacy located in a medical clinic serving the community for over 30 years. We strive to help our patients as much as we can, and to provide them with exceptional care.

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant preferred.

Experience with Fillware an asset.

Fluency in Portuguese an asset.

**Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented permanent, Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy health care team from mid-July to mid-August. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare medication orders for patients
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Handle cash transactions and process insurance claims
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety regulations

**Experience**:

- **Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of Fillware is an asset
- Fluency in Portuguese an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

**Requirements**:

- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
