Our Pharmacy has been serving the neighborhood since 1975 providing top-notch care to our valued patients, and we're excited to welcome a new Pharmacy Assistant to our ranks. Our work environment includes: - Growth opportunities - Flexible working hours **Duties**: - Assist pharmacist in dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies - Enter patient information and prescription details into the pharmacy system - Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries - Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction - Prepare medication orders for delivery or pickup - Handle cash transactions and process insurance claims - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area **Experience**: - Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or technician is an **Asset** - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication skills - Proficient computer skills **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent - **Benefits**:_ On-site parking Store discount **Schedule**: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: Toronto, ON M4L 2A4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Languages**: **English (Fluent)** **Chinese (preferred)** **Urdu (preferred)** **Experience**: pharmacy: 1-2 years (required) Work Location: In person **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.55-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Paid time off - Store discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed **Experience**: - pharmacy: 1 year (required) **Language**: - Chinese (preferred) - Urdu (preferred) Work Location: In person
