**Server/Bartender**

Regency Restaurant and Bar

Available Shifts: Weekend availability, Holidays, Evening Shift, Full-Time, Permanent

The Regency Restaurant & Bar located within the Fredericton Inn is seeking a server/bartender to join our food and beverage team. Our ideal server/ bartender will have a passion for excellence in guest service and a strong background in contemporary dining. They will be expected to function in a team environment and provide warm, friendly and efficient service for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:
Deliver an excellent guest experience.

Answer questions related to food and beverage choices.

Recommend accompanying dishes and beverages by effectively up selling.

Take orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.

Maintain proper service and billing procedures.

Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

Follow all provincial liquor legislation and procedures.

Maintain cleanliness of the working areas.

Set tables/Restock bar and prepare restaurant for next dining period.

Complete daily check list and other assigned duties and tasks.

Book reservations when required.

Follow emergency and safety protocols.

**Job requirements**:
Must be legally able to serve alcohol.

Must be friendly, outgoing and be an approachable team player.

Customer service experience is a must.

Have excellent customer service skills.

Sales minded with a professional demeanor & willingness to learn.

Bartending experience & knowledge of craft beer, wine and cocktails is an asset.

Experience with a POS is an asset.

French as a second language is an asset.

Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Criminal record check may be requested.

Responsible Beverage training is an asset.
