**Position Overview**

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic **Cooks** to join our evening production team. Working the **2pm-10pm shift**, our Cooks play a key role in preparing and packaging our gourmet frozen meals. This position reports directly to the **Chef**, with guidance from the Sous Chefs, and is ideal for someone with strong kitchen skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and production standards.
- Assist with portioning, packaging, and labeling meals for retail and wholesale.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety and Fraser Health guidelines.
- Support daily prep lists and shift priorities as directed by the Chef.
- Communicate any shortages, equipment issues, or workflow concerns promptly.
- Assist with closing duties at the end of the shift.

**Qualifications**
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience required (commercial kitchen experience an asset).
- Strong knowledge of food safety and safe food-handling practices.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- FoodSafe Level 1 required (or willing to obtain).

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
