**Utility Operator 1 - Water Distribution**:
Have you been waiting for an opportunity to work with our Public Works department to repair and provide maintenance to our municipal Water Distribution system? Do you have a have thorough knowledge of operation, maintenance, repair, and construction of Water Distribution systems? As a Utility Operator 1 - Water Distribution you will repair and provide maintenance to the Water Distribution system. This position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience with water utility, possession of EOCP Water Distribution Level 1 certified TCP, WHMIS and training in chlorine handling.

**_Key Responsibilities:_**
- Operates and maintains the municipal Water Distribution system including but not limited to Chlorination systems, pumps, wells and surface intakes, reservoirs, PRV and air valves, hydrants, meters and other appurtenances.
- Repairs water mains and services as well as process pipes.
- Installs water connections to properties, as required.
- Collects data both manually and electronically.
- Assist in wastewater collection and wastewater treatment operational duties as required.
- Performs flagging duties, directs or controls traffic at work sites.
