Marketing Coordinator, Communications

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator, Communications As an integral member of a high performing team, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with other team members and supporting the execution of our overall marketing and communications plan and those of the business units we support.

**What Will You Be Doing?**
- Supporting in the creation and curation of engaging content across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Collaborating with our Creative and Communications team to develop and implement innovative content strategies that aligns with our diverse brands.
- Monitoring and engaging with our audience on social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all social media channels.
- Supporting our Influencer program by organizing payments, scheduling eye exams, and arranging shipments of glasses.
- Identifying news stories and ideas for intranet content and supporting other business areas for content development and live posting.
- Supporting the activation of community investment activities, including creating communications, presentations, and developing new community partnerships.
- Coordinating events and other initiatives to promote engagement with customers/patients and/or employees.
- Supporting the creation of bi-weekly internal newsletters.
- 1- 3 years of experience in social media, ideally in a corporate environment
- Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, marketing, or related business discipline
- Previous experience maintaining internal intranet sites and being responsible for quality of content
- Experience using Hootsuite, or a similar social media management platform, is an asset
- Experience creating and implementing corporate community investment programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft engaging content tailored to different platforms and audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingualism (French/English) considered an asset
