**Financial Controller**

Reporting to Senior Management, the Financial Controller's overall role on the team will be to assist the management team with creation and preparation of various reports, assist in establishing internal controls, and work with all team members to optimize business growth.

An advanced Excel knowledge and a proven ability to multi-task within an evolving environment is an asset. In addition, the Financial Controller must have a high attention to detail, strong math skills and will be required to complete various other finance related duties as needed. This role requires someone who is focused, coachable and can be an active member of the Senior Management Team. Career advancement is available via a potential CFO position as the business evolves.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and forecasts.
- Prepare monthly journal entries (including prepaid, fixed assets, amortization, payroll, etc.) using Microsoft Dynamics Software
- Review monthly balance sheet, income statement, changes in financial position and report to financial management team.
- Prepare payroll and ensure accuracy before each payroll run.
- Prepare various CRA sales/HST tax reporting and filing.
- Provide back up support when needed for basic processes across AR/AP/Cash Management.
- Ensure data in Microsoft Dynamics ERP is accurate.
- Manage accounting staff and encourage open communication.
- Assist in coordinating, performing, and reviewing Inventory counts.
- Work collaboratively with all organization team members.
- Various finance duties as needed.

**Requirements**:

- CPA designation.
- Accounting related degree.
- Full-cycle accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Collaborates and works well with team members.
- Advanced Excel knowledge (advanced formulas, pivot tables & charts, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office products, such as Business Central.

Remuneration based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
