Armed Guard

General Duties:
Safely deliver valuables to clients in the GTA and surrounding municipalities

work closely with other armed guards and conduct risk management

Operate an armoured vehicle van during all weather conditions

Assist with delivery of valuables to and from the vehicle

Assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle during deliveries (up to 40 pounds)

Plan safe routes for timely delivery of valuables to clients

Address and resolve client issues in a timely manner

Meticulously complete client parcel delivery logs

Qualifications:
Must be a Canadian Citizen (25 years or older)

Must be in good physical and mental condition (able to lift at least 40 pounds)

Must possess a valid Security Guard License

Must possess a valid Possession and Acquisition (PAL) license

Must possess a valid standard first-aid and level-A CPR certificate

Have excellent interpersonal, time management and leadership skills

Have comprehensive understanding of use of force framework, criminal code of Canada, and crisis intervention de-escalation techniques

Able to work in a team environment with minimum supervision

Conduct his/her work with the highest level of professionalism, honesty and integrity

Have outstanding customer service skills and excel a public relations with client management

**Education**:
Must be a successful graduate from a recognized community College or University

**Experience**:
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate detail.

Must not have a criminal conviction for which a pardon has not been granted.

Driver Abstract - 3 year uncertified driver's abstract must be submitted if hired

Note: both clearances are a condition of employment and must be maintained

**Experience**:

- Armed Guard: 1 year (preferred)
