, Permanent $16.00 - $18.00 (based on previous work experience) - Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction. - Knowledge and ability to operate hand tools (electric drills, screwdrivers, etc.). - Ability to read a Tape Measure to 1/16th " or 1 mm. - Basic Reading, Writing & Computer Skills **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Follow programming /set up and operation of fabrication shop equipment (laser, punch press, etc.) according to established procedures and guidelines. - Make sure that all finished parts are inspected for conformance to specifications and tolerances. - Perform periodic checks on output and communicate issues. - Follow all machine safety rules (light curtains, guarding, etc.). - Follow instructions to perform assembly, sub-assembly, cleaning, labelling, and packaging procedures. - Using hand tools to perform manual assembly. - Packaging & Shipping of completed items - Meet production schedules and production sequences for optimal productivity. - Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintain work area(s) in an organized, clean, and foreign object damage (FOD) free manner. - Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies, and practices. Ensure that all team members consistently work in a safe manner regarding self and co-workers. Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday: 8 am to 5:15 pm Friday: 8am to 12:15 pm **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Work Location: One location
