**Job Description**:
Are you an individual who enjoys telling a story through data and analytics? Will you aid in shepherding our multi-residential strategy as we elevate our industry, by providing specific, factual, and quality information? As an Analyst, Development, you will be joining a team who prides themselves on excellence vis-a-vis people, standards, and quality. Our expectation is for you to present data rich information related to acquisitions, due diligence, market & financial analysis, which is easily understood by all audiences, to further enlighten perspectives resulting in making informed decisions. - Conduct research to support all development functions, including acquisitions due diligence, market analysis, construction costs, entitlements, available sources of financing and design methods
- Draft internal and external reports
- Prepare and analyze development data for strategic review
- Prepare and assist in preparation of valuations, due diligence and returns analyses as required for new and existing development projects
- Assist in the creation, maintenance and updating of budgets and financial models
- Research, summarize and track specific political, regulatory and market trends to keep the business informed of changes within the development industry
- Collaborate with Investment, Property and Asset Management team members on a daily basis
- Prepare succinct and accurate agendas and minutes for internal and external meetings; and attend external project meetings and provide support as required

Qualifications:

- Ability to operate in small teams with substantial individual responsibility and senior management exposure
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills with a direct and open communication style
- Advanced modeling skills with an in-depth understanding of financial concepts
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think “outside the box”
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple projects with competing priorities

Minimum Requirements:

- Strong desire and passion to pursue a career in the real estate finance industry
- A degree in architecture, planning, real-estate development, or business / finance with a real estate emphasis
- 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience within the residential real estate development industry;
- Applicants with 1 year experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity or corporate finance will also be considered
- Self-starter and “can-do” attitude
