GAT maintains a dedicated Training Department to ensure full compliance with our customers' training policies and procedures as well as GAT's compliance with all governmental regulatory requirements.. The GAT Corporate Training Manager - Below the Wing assesses the needs of the business and facilitates a wide variety of training programs that enhance the safety and performance of the workforce. This position is responsible to achieve strategic learning priorities and deliver curricula at consistently high standards to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization and the industry as a whole.
- Responsible for working with airlines to deliver ramp operations training using a variety of techniques, (i.e. in-person/virtual classroom, E-learning, hands-on, etc.) and formats to accommodate adult learning styles and engage learners.
- Reviews existing training programs and suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention.
- Must have the ability to work independently to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments occurring simultaneously.
- Work collaboratively with operational leadership and represented workgroups to proactively identify training needs to support field locations.
- Must effectively articulate and communicate how GAT Core Values support the training process.
- Must possess a sense of urgency and a passion for the continuous improvement of training delivery.
- Must be very detailed oriented and committed to training compliance standards.
- Excels in building relationships throughout the organization.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of Below the Wing (ramp operations) airline industry preferred or a strong background and enthusiastic spirit in the aviation industry, specifically Airline Airport Services or Airline Service Provider leadership.
- 5+ years of experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferably Cornerstone platform.
- Moderate to advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Must be willing to travel and be away from home base when required.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, internal, and external business relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
