About the Role:

- Key Responsibilities:_
- Review drawings and quantify details for formulating schedules;
- Collaborate with pre-construction and project team in early stages to establish the fundamentals of the projects;
- Develop an initial construction management plan by visiting project sites and collaborating with project teams;
- Construct and revise preliminary work schedules for the sequence of all work to be preformed and ensure the schedule is accurate and realistic;
- Engage with project team to ensure a concerted work schedule and plan is accepted and achieved;
- Collaborate with V-CON on 4D schedules to verify the completion and accuracy of the work plan and schedule;
- Liaise with site and construction teams to provide support in using planning tools;
- Proactively identify any unforeseen problems or conflicts in the project plan and schedule to effectively manage a resolution.

What you Bring:
The ideal Construction Planner is someone who can leverage their extensive background and understanding of construction to utilize technology in creating accurate complex project schedules. You have the ability to adapt on the fly and proactively manage multiple schedules, solve schedule conflicts under pressure, and understand the complex building sequence. You can work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and take pride in your work with understanding the importance of quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction at every stage of the construction process.

- Skills and Experience_
- At least five (5) years of experience on a construction site, in an superintendent or project manager level will be highly preferred;
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Project and Bluebeam;
- Experience planning and scheduling a complex project from start to finish will be a huge asset;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills with the ability to lead meetings with trades and site staff;
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in business, construction, commerce, or a related field will be considered an asset.
