**Project Planner**

**As our Project Planner you will work with our sales, engineering and planning teams to assist with the development of preliminary designs, cost estimates, scheduling and proposal submission.**

**Position Overview**:

- **Assist the**Project Manager to transfer contract information regarding the contractual, cost, and scope items necessary for the effective completion of the project.
- Preparation of proposal documents, contract documents, Letter of Authorizations
- **Assist the Project Manager**with finalizing all schedules, prepare purchase orders, and communicate all necessary information to subcontractors. Obtain any necessary insurance, building permits, or bonds.
- **Request quotations for projects**:

- Review and interpret tender packages.

**Qualifications Needed**:

- Experience in planning specifically in the construction industry.
- Experience using **AutoCAD, Timberline, Microsoft Office, Scheduling, accounting, and estimating software are an asset.**:

- A clear communicator offering creative solutions while managing tight deadlines and critical project details.
- Basic **understanding of construction laws, contracts, insurance, bonding and provincial taxation**.
- **Education/training** in engineering and formal training in Project Management would be an asset.
