**The Opportunity**:
We are changing the way people buy and service cars one dealership at a time. In business for over 30 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. Each month we welcome hundreds of new users to our software platform, and we need your help.
We are unique in the industry because we view our customers as business partners, technology innovators, and friends. Our software can run all aspects of an automotive dealership with sales, service, inventory management, and accounting modules.
And that is where you come into the picture. **The Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct in-depth research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Vehicle Sale and Leasing Taxation, Lease, and Finance calculation regulations across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions
- Analyze, document, and interpret regulatory requirements, translating them into actionable product recommendations and requirements
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders - including customers, regulatory experts, and PBS teams - to gather insights, conduct interviews, and validate concepts
- Independently envision, hypothesize, and evaluate new concepts and solutions to address evolving compliance and business needs
- Prepare clear, comprehensive reports and professional presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and other PBS teams to ensure accurate implementation of regulatory requirements and best practices within the DMS
- Monitor industry trends and proactively identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation in the areas of automotive finance and leasing
- Support product adoption through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement

**Qualifications**:

- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the retail automotive industry, with a focus on finance and leasing
- Demonstrated expertise in vehicle sales, leasing taxation, lease, and finance calculations
- Willingness and ability to travel within Canada and the United States; must possess a valid passport and have no travel restrictions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently envision and test concepts and hypotheses
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct effective stakeholder interviews and facilitate discussions
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing professional reports and presentations
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
