Highlight challenges with leadership and Data Engineering and Development teams.- Lead the architecture and design of Moneris Data Governance tooling and supporting processes to ensure alignment with current and future data management goals and strategy.- Optimize data priorities and impacts from initiatives by having a deep understanding of business priorities, the impacts to data architecture and the service layer.- Work with leaders to sequence priorities based on business value and the needs of Moneris.- Partner with project management teams to optimize the project lifecycle by adding insights on data constraints, data flow, and business requirements. Be the expert on what is possible and how changes to products and services will impact the data and data services available.- Support the development and delivery of master data management training by providing industry knowledge and technical know-how- Create elements of the Moneris Data Strategy and connect those with projects and tactics to achieve goals- Manage the portfolio of work for data platforms to ensure execution of the data strategy.- Use expertise in data management to create aspirational views of how data should be accessed, leveraged, and optimized for all stakeholder groups. Use this view to inform the construction of strategies and plans for Data Platforms. Your experience includes: - Bachelor's degree required, masters considered an asset (or equivalent work experience)- Minimum 5 years of experience working in data governance or equivalent- Expert knowledge of database querying and some programing skills- Experience with data management processes specifically in data quality, data profiling, data lineage, business glossary, metadata and reference data- Experience in profiling data and creating traceability from system to use case.- Expert in engaging a senior level audience to drive strategy and motivate action on governance initiatives.
