Proficienct in designing and developing interactive digital games in STEM, including storyboarding and engineering design principles. 2. Testing digital video games. 3. Designing curriculum and assessments to accompany digital games. - Qualifications**Education**: - Required: Post-Secondary Degree in STEM **Experience**: - Required: Experience in computer programming and games development, and curriculum and assessment Skills, Abilities & Expertise: - Familiarity with instructional design methods to deliver instructional programs and courses - Familiarity with adult learning principles - Familiarity with learning evaluation methods - In-depth and broad knowledge within the field - Presentation skills to deliver information in a clear and engaging manner, using appropriate communication channels - Communication skills to describe technical concepts effectively to both novice and sophisticated users - Ability to summarize information and disseminate to others effectively in a timely manner - Ability to perceive and understand the emotions of others, and interact with them appropriately based on those emotions - Ability to provide guidance, support and feedback in a way that is positively received - Organizational and multi-tasking skills to prioritize and consistently produce high-quality work - Demonstrated ability to coach and support adult learners, and to enable individuals to learn **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
