**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the situation to determine the necessary course of action at client sites.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to transport patients safely.
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff and other emergency personnel regarding patient conditions and treatment provided.
- Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for emergencies at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with medical practices and protocols.

**Qualifications**
- Valid Paramedic certification from an accredited program.
- Valid EMA license issued in BC
- Class 4 drivers license
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to emergency care.
- Experience in a hospital or emergency medical services environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care while adhering to safety standards.
