Motel/Hotel Resident Manager

We have opening for resident Manager in our Family owned 50 unit Motel located in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

This is a live in position
- subsidized furnished accommodation( Hotel’s Kitchenette suite inclusive of all utilities ) will be provided on site..

The position is suitable for people currently residing in Canada

Experience needed - Min 1 years customer service experience - Managing hotel/motel/apartment buildings will be an asset

Responsibilities include:

- Provide courteous and professional guest services ,
- Utilize techniques to maximize revenue and occupancy levels
- Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the property and perform quality checks in the rooms
- Process reservation and cancellation requestsMaintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Answer inquiries regarding hotel services and registration by letter, by telephone and in person, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guests' complaints
- Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems
- Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment.

Employment requirements:

- Completion of secondary school or equivalent

**Salary**: $30,000.00-$36,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Retention bonus
