We are looking for an experienced Network Technician to manage all internal IT functions as well as external client events. You should have a minimum of 5 years of end user support and networking experience and be able to work flexible schedules to accommodate events after-hours or on weekends. Being a team player with a positive attitude and self-starter initiative is a must.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
As an Network Technician, your objectives include, but not limited to:
- Perform IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) and break-fix services on hardware such as desktops, laptops, tablets, flat panel monitors, printers, routers, firewalls, switches, access points, & servers
- Set up equipment for employees, configuration of operating systems and appropriate software
- Perform desktop and software installation/upgrades including staging & imaging
- Perform all levels of help desk and deskside support, troubleshooting & remediating hardware, software and network related issues for end users & Executives
- Perform LAN and internetworking related activities
- Hardware and Software: Dell Latitude laptops, Dell Optiplex desktops, MAC Computers, MAC OSX, iOS X, Microsoft Windows 11/10, Microsoft Office 365, Network VPN, Adobe Acrobat
- Manage the IT assets of the company
- Deal with 3rd party IT vendors as required to procure IT assets
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5+ years of hardware, software, and networking support experience
- Have intermediate-to-advanced internetworking and troubleshooting skills
- Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
- Nice to Have: A+ certification &/or other IT industry certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or other OEMS (Cisco/Meraki, Dell, HP, Lenovo etc.)
- Knowledge of web development (HTML,CSS,JS) would be an asset
- Knowledge of Webcasting/streaming would be an asset
- Must be a self-starter and can manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Attention to detail/accuracy
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to supervise other IT resources
- Available to work flexible work schedules, supporting events after-hours and on weekends
