- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts Ice Cream and Gelato according to established recipes and standards.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail, ensuring visual appeal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring proper presentation and freshness.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dessert offerings that align with seasonal menus or customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, assisting with ordering as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests about dessert options and accommodating special requests.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Proficiency in cake decorating techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in both preparation and presentation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
