Accounts Payable Technician

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Technician. Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting and verification of accounts payable in a bilingual environment.

You will also be called upon to play a role in the implementation and improvement of the processes and work tools of your department.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Manage accounts payable (creation, update etc.)
- Coding and registering invoices in the system and making payments
- Verify and reconcile statements of account, address discrepancies to various parties and ensure follow-up
- Communications with suppliers
- Produce different types of reports
- Contribute to the evolution and optimization of the processes of the position
- Perform all other related tasks

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- DEC in accounting, administration or equivalent training
- Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite
- Bilingualism in English and French
- Analytical mind and ability to synthesize
- Organizational skills, autonomy, resourcefulness
- Excellent ability to work in a team
- Comfortable with change management, ability to adapt
